Agitators trying to lay blame on govt, claims Paradorn

- +

The attacks on protests in Bangkok and Trat during the weekend are believed to have been linked and politically motivated, National Security Council (NSC) chief Paradorn Pattanatabut said on Monday.

Lt Gen Paradorn was referring to the attack on a People's Democratic Reform Council (PDRC) gathering in Khao Saming district of Trat province on Saturday night, and the explosion in front of the Big C department store at Ratchaprasong and the discovery of an M79 grenade near the Civil Court on Ratchadapisek road on Sunday.

The incidents were linked and intended to expand the unrest to other provinces and lay blame on the government, he said.
