Yingluck, Chalerm face murder charges

Families of two civilians killed in the Phan Fah Bridge protest clash have filed murder charges against caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and five other senior government figures including Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) director Chalerm Yubamrung. 

The four other officials are national police chief Adul Saengsingkaew, Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Tarit Pengdith, Pol Lt Gen Kawee Supanant, commander of the Provincial Police Region 2 and Pol Maj Gen Khatcha Thatsat, chief of Chon Buri police.

Two policemen and four protesters were killed in the incident on Feb 18.
