Four villagers, two Buddhists and two Muslims, were shot dead, and three others injured when a group of southern terrorists opened fire at a home in Khok Pho district of Pattani last night, according to Thai PBS online.

Khok Pho police chief Po Lt-Col Pathompong Petcharoon said the attack happened about 8pm at a Thai Buddhist village at Ban Khien in Khok Pho.

The armed men arrived in a green  pickup truck, sprayed bullets from assault rifles at a group of people in a house and then sped off in the direction of Ban Tapat village.
