Ministry seeks B3.6bn boost for student loans

The Ministry of Education plans to request an additional 3.6 billion baht from the government's central fund to extend the Student Loan Fund (SLF) to cover students in need of financial support. 

Chaturon: Hopes to increase SLF budget

Last year, the SLF office requested a total budget of 23.5 billion baht from the government but the sum was cut by 6.7 billion baht, resulting in a shortage of funds to meet student loan demands.
