A network of education groups has drawn up educational reform proposals as an alternative to the state's reform blueprint which it hopes the next government will adopt.

The proposals were unveiled yesterday by the network calling itself the Education Reform Assembly which is made up of groups representing parents, youths, small and private schools, educational institutions and the private sector.

Sponsored by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the network has met several times since last month to discuss ways to improve education quality.
