Southern train services will terminate at Tanyongmas, isolating Sungai Kolok, until passenger safety can be guaranteed following the bomb explosions that damaged two railway bridges in Narathiwat, caretaker Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt ruled on Wednesday.

State Railway of Thailand (SRT) governor Prapas Chongsanguan said repairs were expected to be complete and the track from Tanyongmas station in Rangae district to Sungai Kolok reopened before the weekend.
