Twenty-seven rocket-propelled grenade rounds were found hidden in a grove of banana trees in Muang district of Chon Buri province on Monday morning, Post Today reported.
The RPGs were left among the banana trees on an unused 30-square-wah section of land near a house in village 3 of tambon Ban Suan in Muang district. Five empty boxes believed to be containers for the grenades wee also found there.
The explosives were found by nearby residents who were gathering banana blossoms for food. They later informed police.
