THAI flights to Karachi unaffected by terror attack

- +

Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) flights to Jinnah International Airport in Pakistan’s Karachi will remain unchanged despite a large-scale terrorist attack at the airport, THAI acting president Chokchai Panyayong says.

The first flight, after the airport resumed operations at 6pm yesterday, is scheduled to depart Suvarnabhumi airport at 2pm today, he said.

On Sunday night, a group of gunmen attacked Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, forcing all operations at its Terminal 1 to be suspended. Flights were diverted to other airports, while passengers were evacuated.
