Broken sleeper derails train in South

An inter-provincial train derailed near the Malaysian border in Narathiwat's southern Sungai-Kolok district on Tuesday afternoon, slightly injuring two passengers and cutting services by 14 other trains for the remainder of the day.

Train No. 451 was en route from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Sungai-Kolok border station when its  fourth carriage jumped the track at kilometre marker 1140 at Ban To Lua Bae in tambon Sungai-Kolok at 3pm.
