State revenue 6.6% short of target

State revenue in the first nine months of fiscal 2014 ending September this year was 6.6% short of the target due to lower-than-expected import value-added tax and duty collections.

The government collected 1.55 trillion baht from October 2013 to June 2014, 110 billion baht short of the target, said Krisda ChinavicharanaKrisda, director of the Fiscal Policy Office.
