Dept clears Tarit's wife of forest land encroachment

Land plots owned by the wife of former Department of Special Investigation chief Tarit Pengdith in Nakhon Ratchasima have been deemed legal, the Land Development Department (LDD) confirmed yesterday.

Two houses built on land next to the plots were demolished yesterday on grounds of forest encroachment but this land was deemed to have a different owner.
