Chon Buri: The navy has intercepted four Vietnamese fishing boats and arrested 37 crew for intruding into Thai territorial waters off Sattahip district.

Acting on a tip-off that Vietnamese fishing trawlers were venturing into Thai waters yesterday morning, First Naval Area command chief Weerapan Sukgon sent the fast attack craft HTMS Songkhla to the area.

Under Capt Samruang Jansai, chief of staff of the command's Operations Fleet, the Songkhla joined Marine Police Division 5 vessels to patrol the area.
