B200 fines for Asok jaywalkers

Traffic police on Monday began fining jaywalkers on Asok Montri Road 200 baht in an attempt to decrease congestion on one of Bangkok’s busiest roads.

In addition to pedestrians crossing against a red light or in the middle of the street, vehicles that do not stop at the zebra crossings will face fines of up to 500 baht.
