Agreement reached on local budgets

- +

Local administrative organisations have reached an agreement with Prime Minister's Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul on Wednesday on their budget cuts.

Both sides agreed to move an ad-hoc budget subsidy for road construction worth 20 billion baht to the general expense category, said Kriangkrai Phoomlaochaeng, chairman of the National Municipal League of Thailand.

The local administration organisations on Tuesday complained their budget subsidies had been cut to 37 billion baht from 61 billion for fiscal 2015.
