AUDIT COMMISSION
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has asked the House of Representatives to return the State Auditor Commission bill to the Senate for further deliberation.
The Senate sent the bill to the lower house after less than half of the upper house voted for the organic draft law. The 2007 constitution requires more than half of the Senate to approve a bill.
House speaker Chai Chidchob yesterday raised the idea of consulting the House on how to process the controversial bill.
