The opposition Puea Thai Party on Thursday issued a statement calling for all sides to hold talks to explore ways to end political conflict and achieve peaceful reconciliation.
Plodprasop Surasawadi, a deputy Puea Thai leader, said the statement followede discussions involving senior party figures who expressed grave concern over the situation.
Following the tragic events between April 10 and May 19 the Puea Thai Party had closely monitored the situation in the hope things would return to normal. The party found that the political conflict and ideological differences had become even more serious.
