Samut Prakan MP Preecha Prasopdee on Thursday reaffirmed his loyalty to Puea Thai and denied leaving for another party.
The MP admitted that he had said he would go to talk to Somsak Prisnananthakul of the Chart Thai Pattana Party, but this was because he wanted to learn about the political situation from him.
Mr Pracha said he sympathised with the decisions of actor-turned-politician Natee Suthinphuak (aka Krung Srivilai) and Jiraphan Limsakulsirirat, also Puea Thai MPs for Samut Prakan, for having announced their intention to defect to the Bhumjaithai Party.
