The Puea Thai Party executive committee will meet on Tuesday to further discuss the details of its proposal for reconciliation, party leader Yongyuth Wichaidit said on Monday.
The five-point proposal was made in a party statement released by deputy party leader Plodprasop Suraswadi last week. It calls on the government to hold talks with all parties to end political conflict.Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Sunday in his television and radio broadcast from Shanghai that Puea Thai's proposal was welcome news.
