The Department of Special Investigation admits its investigation into the 89 deaths during the red shirt protest in Bangkok is faltering and it is calling on those with information to come forward.
DSI director-general Tharit Pengdit said yesterday the department's work had been hampered by unfounded rumours that it would take action against those who have any information.
He said the DSI would appreciate receiving every piece of information in order to unravel the truth behind the April-May violence which led to the deaths of 89 people.
