In a real democracy, the visit would have been by-partisan.

To my knowledge not one country has asked for their weapons back. And where are they now anyway? As they were breaking UN sanctions, shouldnt they just be destroyed? At least if an announcement is made to that effect, then we might actually learn who paid for them in the first place. Why isnt the UN forcing the issue or are UN resolutions meaningless bits of paper put togther by alleged clever people. I may have just answered my own question.

---"I just wanted to check if the information was factual and check whether the plane flew to several places where Thaksin had been staying, although I was not accusing him of being involved," Mr Sirichoke said.---

Bout was in jail, was he conducting arm trade in jail? How would Bout know if the plane flew to several places where Thaksin had been staying?

The last thing the current government is interested in is the truth.

Why isn't J. in jail. The immunity system which allows him to reek havoc will in office is absurd! Is there no ethics requirements to control such functioning at the lowest level of social behavior. Get on with it; get him out of there.

the expression on his face begs to have a mustache painted on it.

Suggesting there is a connection between Bout and Taksin is just another insane ploy by an unbalanced government trying desperately to keep the initiative in their hands despite the fact the world is laughing more and more as they go through more and more absurd and ridiculous contortions trying to make the unbelievable believable.

How stupid does the government think people are?

In any other country, if the law and courts are manipulated, the ruler uses the military to control the country and the people, like in N. Korea, Burma and Thailand. There, the court, the laws (except the martial law) and the police are just decoration, instead what really matter are the military, the guns and tanks that are put on the street.

It is not Sirichoke job to investigate, rather it is DSI or police job, if they are not capable then find someone else in place of them. Mr. Sirichoke is acting upon someone ordered and that someone is left for him to defense himself now.....I watched the debate yesterday, Sirichoke is very offensive and not allowed Jatupan to speak even.....It is show he is guilty from the look.......

Since when has Sirichoke became a member of parliament responsible for verifying the facts after Sri Lanka's opposition leader claimed ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra might have been involved with the weapons that were seized at Don Mueang airport on Dec 11 last year?
