The hot subject at the beginning of the week was not the death of bin Laden nor the trilateral meeting on the Thai-Cambodian conflict; it was the Facebook battle between Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij and red-shirt leader Nattawut Saikua.

It all started simply enough with a post on Facebook by the finance minister after taking his wife out to an innocent dinner at at unnamed restaurant on Thong Lor.

To the reporter on this article: The second comment attributed to "the red corner" ("When are we going to burn the town again? ...") was clearly written by someone who's anti-red.

I agree with Korn that rich people should dine at rich people's place, while poor people should dine at poor people's place.
