Fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's three children have cast their votes in Sunday's general election.

On TV this morning, when asked about the their view on the election outcome one of the girls said it was important for their family. that is a truthful statement.

What a strange comment to make: When reporters asked them about the election, the three said they did not want to talk much at this time, as they might cause a slip up. What sort of slip up? Were they handing money out?
