Election commissioner Sodsri Satayathum has warned red shirts pressuring the EC to endorse Jatuporn Prompan's MP status to back off or risk a coup.
Mrs Sodsri said some red shirts have attempted to intimidate election commissioners to secure the endorsement of Mr Jatuporn, a United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship core leader and a Pheu Thai MP-elect.
"We are not scared and we won't be intimidated," said Mrs Sodsri.

Today is unbelievable, its 5 pm and no denials, excuses , whitewash from the usual red sympathizers on this forum. Maybe the facts are too clear in this case of intimidation of the EC and the usual excuses with "the airport occupation" or " the coup" are senseless, even to them!!!

The clone of Pheu Thai said the party has never put any pressure on the EC. SO once again it must be 'fake' redshirts threatening the EC, just as 'fake' as the ones attacking hospitals, burning down Bangkok and killing innocent Thais.

'"The commissioners are ready to sacrifice their lives for the country".' Presumably this means they have had death threats. Would not surprise me at all.

it is obvious the red thugs are quickly becoming an embarrassment and liability to Yingluck. She is a well educated person who wants to make a decent government out of decent specialists and no red rhetoric shouting bullies.But her brother has let the bad spirit out of the bottle by financing them and now they cannot be put back!! Our army is the only one to stop them!

This article clearly proves what every awake Thai already knows; the red thugs ARE intimidating the EC with mob style tactics. Sad for Thailand, sad for justice, sad for peaceful people. What bunch of red denial or excuses can we expect to whitewash this intimidation and violence?? Oh, I forgot , the reds do this because of "the coup"...
