Why do so many people fight tooth and nail for, and to keep, these high positions that they claim are such a terribly aweful "sacrifice" to have?

"Acting Democrat Party leader and opposition leader Abhisit Vejjajiva said it was clear Pol Gen Wichean had been pressured to relinquish the job". Just as the Police commission's members were adjusted and pressured to take him in the first place by his government. Nothing new here happens after every change of government.

"Pol Gen Wichean said that during his two years as police chief he had managed to restore the people's faith in police to a certain level." Really? What level would that be? As far as I was aware most people's faith in the police was still practically non-existent.

We only have to look at the history of current government officials,to see where this government is taking us.Thailand deserves better. All of the campaign promises made by this regime are only that! The country has been doing quite well, despite the lack of "The Convicted Criminal" and his cohorts,so let us keep it that way.If the time and resourses expended on trying to get t s back in power, were spent on doing the the job they were elected,or appointed,or hired to do,all Thais would be much better off.I know that this is only a pipe dream, but again,I must say thanks B Post for allowing my comments........Geezzer
