The Constitution Court on Wednesday accepted for consideration two separate petitions filed by Pheu Thai and Democrat MPs, each seeking the removal of MPs of the rival party, court spokesman Pimol Thampithakpong said.
The first petition was filed by 83 Pheu Thai MPs led by Justice Minister Pracha Promnok asking the Constitution Court's to rule whether Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Democrat Party leader, and Warong Dejkitwikrom, a Democrat MP for Phitsanulok had lost their House membership under Sections 91, 106(6), and 266(1) of the constitution for ordering the Phitsanulok governor to give them 500 survival kit bags issued by the Energy Ministry.
The two then distributed the bags to flood-hit people in Phitsanulok. This was an interference in the work of state officials, the petition alleged.

The military has torn down democracy and dragged back democratic evolution so many times all that is left os for politicians to play games and plunder to fill their own pockets. Then the military has another excuse top step in and drag it back again. Without allowing democracy to grow freely this is probably all we are going to get. Truth to tell, as much as I hold the military accountable for much of the travesty that is Thai politics and the social injustices and inequalities, if I were a general and watched these buffoons I would be tempted to carry out a coup too.

Thailand's politics becomes more bizarre every day. It is getting to be like watching the Monte Python Show these days.

In Thailand, Members of Parliament don things that are only useful to them personally, bank accounts in particular schoolyard antics is how they think they are distracting attention away from what they are actually doing

More school yard antics. Would be nice to see the members of Parliament actually sit down together and do something useful for all of Thailand's benefit.
