The Truth for Reconciliation Commission yesterday denied it had designed a compensation package for victims of political violence.
TRC member Somchai Homla-or said the amount of 7.75 million baht for each victim was set by a committee monitoring the implementation of the TRC's recommendations.
The committee is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit.
