Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Nattawut Saikuar will consolidate three agencies in a move to raise the natural rubber price to 120 baht a kilogramme.
Mr Nattawut said he would push for legislation in parliament calling for consolidation of the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund, Rubber Estate Organisation, and Rubber Research Institute of Thailand, as part of a long-term scheme to raise the rubber price.
