Chuvit: Politicians run sex ring

Rak Thailand Party leader Chuvit Kamolvisit has sparked a new controversy by claiming he has information on a large prostitution network in Bangkok and other provinces that is backed by influential people including politicians.

Mr Chuvit called a press conference on Sunday to present photographs and video clips showing what he claimed to be “a new form of human trafficking” and said some government officials and politicians were involved in the prostitution ring.

The clips showed a commercial building operating as a secret brothel in the Samrong area of Samut Prakan province and two other brothels in Bangkok, one located on New Phetchaburi Road and the other on Ram Intra Road, Mr Chuvit claimed.

I have said what many people know many times. Prostitution, drugs, casinos and every other illegal activity is controlled from above by wealthy, influential and usually "respected" people of the citizenry. Politicians, cops, business people, military officers; whoever has a position of power can, and does get away with it.

When people get arrested it is always the little guys, "fall guys" to make a show or, to convince people something is being down when in fact one group's competition is simply done away with to strengthen the gang that remains.

Am still wonder what drives Chuvit to go on this one-man crusade. But if the results start appearing, that questions need not be answered.

In essence though if the negative social conditions did not exist crime would not be so rampant.

It will indeed be a loss to Thailand if Chuwit is found guilty by the EC and be stripped of his MP status. We need a hard hitting, fact finding maverick like him to expose corruption.

Since given up his massage biz and working good for the country , he should be given respect,.
How many Thai politicans did what Chuvit has done ,none.

This man sitting in his fancy Thai home from soi 10 sukhumvit and talking about far away ratchada-ramindra---but why he is not talking about soi 12 where they have the same "darling " and recently opened ---WHITE LIONESS(russian strip bar )?? and then open gamble place infront of Ramada at soi 12!??

and this is why I have no respect for authority here. And why I won't stop when the police try to stop me. They are not trying to enforce the law, they are simply out to make money. Respect is earned, and politicians and the police do not deserve any respect.

Doubt Chuvit claim that he will name the people involved. It would be too risky for him to name as he could be sued if he has no solid evidence. It would be very interesting to see who are involved.

There are lots of illegal brothels in Bangkok especially on Petchburi and Ratchpisek .They are called massage parlors .They have large fluorescent signs so you can see them .

Can't be true. Prostitution is illegal in Thailand, therefore, there isn't any.
