Thammasat University has lifted its ban against the Nitirat group conducting its campaign against the controversial lese majeste law on its campus.
The decision was reached yesterday at a meeting of university executives including Thammasat rector Somkit Lertpaithoon.
On Jan 30, university administrators barred Nitirat from using the campus amid fears its campaign to amend Section 112 of the Criminal Code would lead to political protests and perhaps violence at the university.
