Thailand says keep politics out of dispute

Thailand has asked Cambodia to avoid making the border problem between the two countries a political issue amid signs the two nations look set to move forward with border demarcation.

Bandhit Sotipalalit, the head of the Thai delegation, said yesterday during the opening ceremony of the Thai-Cambodian Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) at a hotel in Bangkok that he believed the JBC meeting will be able to move forward with the border demarcation issue.

    Now lets just hope while they are jointly surveying the border pillars together they remember where all the land mines are buried.
