Why isn't he (thaksin) man (and I use the word loosly) to just say "this is all about me and my money and I will use you all untill I get back what I cheated the country out of" This person should be arrested for inciting riots

"Are you going to let them steal our power again?" he said via a video link from an undisclosed location.
"I had 86 billion baht worth of assets before I entered politics, but they stole 46 billion from me," Thaksin said.

Thanks has finally revealed what this reconciliation farce is all about, power and money. His power and his money. I like the statement "steal OUR power again.
It is clear to all now that he will again sacrifice the lives of his so called red brothers and sisters to regain what he lost as a result of his own actions. How can the reds be so blind as not to see his real intentions is beyond me.

Civil war in Thailand not far off, methinks.

Thaksin's antagonists always want the opposite of what he asks for.

Understanding this fact, I would advice Thaksin to advocate that he doesn't want reconciliation to happen anymore. In that case, DP and PT would ask for reconciliation. Same way, he should say that he doesn't want to come back home. After hearing that his opponents will definitely ask him to come back to Thailand as soon as possible.

The sole purpose of a constitutional court is to do exactly what the Thai constitutional court currently does. Wiki says.. "A constitutional court is a high court that deals primarily with constitutional law. Its main authority is to rule on whether or not laws that are challenged are in fact unconstitutional, i.e. whether or not they conflict with constitutionally established rights and freedoms."

Hardly surprising coming from a man who cares nothing for Thai society. There will be no shortage of red foot soldiers for this upcoming bloody finale, with the lure of 500 baht day and the chance of a 7 million baht compo payout at the end.

    Buddhism, anyone?

'they stole 46 billion from me'
These are fighting words - not words from someone seeking 'reconciliation.' He obviously wants restitution (NOT reconciliation). There is a difference!

So it IS about the money and the power...
If UDD and Red Shirts want 'their' government to rule in peace, they should request Thaksin be left out of all negotiations.
That would solve all their problems and take the wind out of PT's enemies' sails.
BTW "PT Government which had been working hard for the people"?... WHICH people? The ones related to him? I don't see a single iota of work that has benefited the real people.
