The prosecutors have deferred until Aug 23 a decision on whether to indict core members of the People's Alliance for Democracy in court on four different cases.

The four cases are the 193-day siege of Government House by PAD protesters in 2008, PAD's siege of parliament on Oct 5-7, 2008, PAD's occupation of Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports in late 2008, and alleged defamation of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Bhumjaithai's Newin Chidchob by PAD leaders...

Discussion 18 : you don't bring any proves but speculations. It is always the same "tactic" with you : your speculations have to be taken as proves but on the other hand PAD "may" have defamed Thaksin and Newin, in the last case nothing is sure but for the UDD everything is sure without real prove...

Disc15 Peterd. I'll take that bet.
Seh Daeng said he controlled the MIB. Seh Daeng was employed by Thaksin and a member of UDD.
When soldiers set up camp on the perimeter of Mordor, Jatuporn said, "Don't not be afraid of the soldiers, our brothers in black will be there to help you soon." Ten minutes later, MIB showed up.
Plus there are plenty of videos and photos of MIB walking amongst the Red Shirts unhindered.

Disc 11+14 - I'm talking about sentencing. PAD trespassed on Govt Property. They trespassed at the airport. And they MAY have defamed Thaksin and Newin.
UDD burnt and looted 39 buildings.
Tell me which are the more serious crimes.

Once again it's one rule for one and one rule for another.
    Nothing ever changes.
Money, power and status trumps all in the LOS.

#8, bet with me that this men in black were appointed by the Red Shirts. And send your evidences. Maybe this MIB were the sames proposing to Suthep to be minister in the PT cabinet. A provocation to discredit the political opponents is more than credible.

"Trespassing and defaming 2 men whose reputations couldn't really get much lower.
Fine them, send them home and then prosecute Nattawut and Jatuporn for inciting arson and looting.
Prosecute them for aiding and abetting the men in black."

What are you talking about ? It is not about tribal or vendetta justice but we are referring to modern justice for all in a democracy.

to#5 Subcoman : "In some case Red Shirts has been immediately sentenced in 2010 not because of violence but because they were found breaking the curfew"
Mostly of these redshirts behind the bar were charged in flagrante delicto of arsons.
Others got several years in jail for burning official building, but last week government put on table 24 millions Bahts to bail 12 jailed whose some have burnt the provincial building of Mahasalakham.
I agree some are in jail for little thing, but why UDD didn't help them in paying for bail ? UDD has no money for free his members but have big money to arrange demonstrations in BKK...

    Attapon, Discussion 4:

Should we take motives into consideration for illegal wrongdoings?

If PAD citing whatever-you-have motives to seize international airports
and government house so as to be innocent from terrorism charges,
    can UDD reason the same?

The UDD personnel merely accused of terrorism have been jailed for 2 years now.

"Looks like the cases are fairly minor - trespassing and defaming 2 men whose reputations couldn't really get much lower.
Fine them, send them home and then prosecute Nattawut and Jatuporn for inciting arson and looting.
Prosecute them for aiding and abetting the men in black.
Clearly there are unacceptable delays... but clearly the cases are hugely differe"

What are you talking about ? We are not talking about tribal or vandetta justice but modern justice in a democracy.

    Sir:

How can we eliminate the so-called double standards here
in Thailand by implementing different treatment between red-shirts and yellow-shirts?

You are widening the gap of differences in our society,
    are you aware of that?
