Pheu Thai MPs to lobby Thaksin in HK

Northeastern MPs of Pheu Thai will meet Thaksin Shinawatra in Hong Kong this weekend to lobby for more cabinet seats, a party source said on Wednesday.

About 20-30 MPs from Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Ubon Ratchathani and Nong Khai provinces will try to convince the fugitive former prime minister to increase the ministerial portfolios for the northeastern region from five to six or seven seats, the source said.

Pracha Prasobdee, the Pheu Thai representative for Samut Prakan, said he had heard some of his fellow MPs talking about the trip.

Take down their names, subpoena then when it comes time to proceed with the 'dissolve Peua Thai for being a proxy party' case. In the next charter amendment there should be a clause that limits the utter stupidity and embarrassment that some MPs cause to the good name of Parliament.

D8: Don't worry about the truth of comparative cots. It's only a white lie. Surely that's acceptable as the Pheu Thai gang have set their benchmark in regard to white lies.

Politicians with money to spare on a government salary. Bangkok Post should investigate how that is possible then teach it to all the poor people in Thailand.

Just to draw a line, an Iphone 5 is available in Bangkok at the grey market for around 35,000 THB, cannot buy at APPLE store here yet, because not yet released, in Hongkong at Apple you pay 22,000 THB . Can it pay the ticket, well if you don't need business class, then it could....but is it newsworthy ? hardly.

Are IPhone 5's so expensive in Bangkok the the savings in Hong Kong will pay the RT airfare and hotel? Why are Thais so poor at lying? I understand the culture won't let them be challenged in their lies but this is just sad that he can't lie any better than this.

Oh dear, what a foolish man.

I guess the army is hoping Thailand can survive these fools and that the the voters will say no to the inevitable bribes at the next election and get rid of them. Of course there needs to be a viable alternative. Dems get your act together. Work out how to meet the needs of the disadvantaged, they do carry most of the votes. Penetrate the PT/UDD great lie. (That they are there for the people and democracy, and that they actually care).
