Yongyuth resigns as party leader, MP

Yonyuth Wichaidit has resigned as leader of the Pheu Thai Party and from his seat as a party list MP, party leader Prompong Nopparit said on Thursday.

The resignation took effect from today.

Mr Prompong said this was Mr Yongyuth's second important decision to allow the party to be restructured and make way for members of a new generation to take over his former positions while he awaits official rulings on his eligibility to serve on the cabinet, to hold the party leadership, and to be an MP.

But who will follow the "political standard" being supposedly set? The Man Abroad and all who benefited - for whom the repercussions may yet emerge?. I'll not hold my breath

Now that Yongyuth is out it is time to dig deeper into the Alpine land ripoff and who really benefited from the illegal land sale. There are other people out there who need to be held accountable.

If he's so innocent, why isn't the PTP telling him to stay on? Because they know that the whole deal was illegal and they are in damage control as this is going to expose alot of People attached to the PTP.
