No made-in-Hong Kong cabinet shuffle

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who is now in Hong Kong, has had nothing to do with the expected changes to the cabinet line up, Thaksin’s legal advisor Noppadon Pattama said on Friday.

Mr Nappadon was responding to claims by the Democrats that Thaksin will make all the decisions on the cabinet reshuffle and that this was evidenced by the large number of MPs and politicians who had flown to visit him in Hong Kong.

Mr Noppadon said it was not unusual for people who love and respect the former prime minister to visit him when he is in a nearby country. Thaksin’s Hong Kong visit was not liked with cabinet changes as claimed. If Thaksin  wanted to interfere he could do it from anywhere.

@ringmaster. Funny ? How serious was he when announced 'Thaksin thinks;PTP acts' and would be PTP MP's signed a contract ? If you do not believe he is running the country via his sister you are stupid or are paid by Thaksin.

@domdunnn. The biggest laugh is Thaksin's mouthpiece spouting such nonsense when it is obvious to all that Thaksin does and will make all the decisions.

Personally, I think its funny that everyone is giving so much attention to Thaksin. He probably thinks its funny too.

@domdunnn. I fail to see what is funny about a billionaire fugitive running this country and his lying lawyer trying to fool the public.

Why do you bother to comment if you think the situation is not serious ?

Mr Nappadon speaks more like a press secretary for the boss and real PM 'T'.

Has it ever occurred to you that Noppadon's statements are delivered tongue in cheek and are designed to give PT/UDD supporters a good laugh at the expense of people like you who take it all so seriously?

'... Mr Noppadon said the party’s executive members would meet on Monday to select an acting party leader'.

What a liar. 'Thaksin thinks;PTP acts'. The more this so called lawyer tries to deny Thaksin is the decision maker the more ridiculous he looks especially given that Thaksin is now so brazen about his leadership role.
