This “acting leader” post is probably just temporary, at least until the formal appointment of a “new leader”. Whoever this leader may be, he / she must be embedded and beholden to the “Man from Yonder”. Real control lies within the Family, not the BIB, BIG, 111-TTT or even PT reds. Blood is thicker than water.

D1 notes it sounds like jobs for the boys - spot on comment. The one thing K. Viroj has in common with many in the parliament now is he is yet another ex BIB.

Pretty clever actually to add a new management layer on top on the Police General officer status.

The Army must be narked at being outsmarted again.

And I always thought Thaksin is their party leader, considering that he makes all the decisions. Or would it be illegal to have a convicted criminal as party leader? How about his clone?

Viroj who? Its clear that no senior politician wants the poisoned chalice.
