DSI to investigate eight new cases

The Special Cases Committee agreed today to accept eight cases for the Department of Special Investigation to investigate, DSI chief Tarit Pengdith said on Wednesday.

They include the legality of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's extension of a contract for the Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc (BTSC) and East Water's donation for flood relief through the Democrat Party.

The purchase of ineffective GTX 2000 and Alpha 6 bomb detectors will also be investigated.

Very funny when the fascists and the pro-dictatorship are shocked. They are not when an illegitimate Gvt send the soldiers against it con-citizens. The Police and DSI (and army) work for the Gvt of the people, that is a democracy. Before DSI had to obey to Suthep Taugsuban, now no. The Thai people chose that, what correlation with the Chineses or Hitler?

Well said D#1. I often wonder where the Red Shirt movement evolved and how that color was chosen. I always thought that there was something missing like yellow stars and stuff. Hmmmm, we all know the father of the Red Shirts is a true Chinese through and through. Now for the Hitler connection and the fathers deep admiration for him.

Gee they could have made it a little less obvious by taking on a variety of cases, seems all of these are investigating one specific party, in a country where all sides are rotten with corruption. As the first four comments here suggest, the DSI and Tharit are becoming a laughing stock, political monkeys.

Oh, they said they paid special attention to cases involving the Democrat Party. Surprise, surprise. Law enforcement in this country is a bad joke. And when a country's law enforcement is a joke, so is the country.

Mr Tarit said the Special Cases Committee paid special attention to the East Water flood relief donation and the extension of the BTSC elevated electric trains contract, both involving the Democrat Party.
Looks like a witch hunt when he phrases it that way. Why not just hold those cards close to your chest and get on with it instead of stirring the waters.

Mr Tarit said the Special Cases Committee paid special attention to the cases involving the Democrat Party...LOL and LOL; did he get his instructions from UDD or directly from Dubai??? Perhaps the hundreds of cases against this actual government will be conveniently forgotten or swept under the carpet?? Poor poor Thailand...

DSI just becoming a government witch hunt organization towards anybody in the opposition camp. The Peua Thai learned well by their mentors, red china's Moa cultural revolution.
