Abhisit urges truth about men in black

POLITICALLY-CHARGED RALLY SLAMS GOVT

The Democrat Party held an emotional rally in Lumpini Park yesterday to condemn the government and provide its version of the military crackdown against red shirt protesters in 2010 when it was in power.

Party members attempted to shed light on the mysterious men in black who had been linked to the red shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship ( UDD) and who were believed by some to have attacked security forces and killed people during the 2010 political violence.

The Democrats on Friday staged a "men in black" caravan to highlight the involvement of the armed men in the 2010 red shirt rallies.

    1) MIB were real.
    2) UDD encouraged the use of violence.
    3) 'First blood' was drawn by MIBs and UDD on April 10th.
    4) Abhisit and Dems exhausted every method possible before using lethal force.
    5) Thai soldiers are as well-trained as every other Thai profession - unnecessary deaths happened.
    6) NO deaths would have happened if UDD had held a peaceful protest.

If any Red Shirt apologist wants to deny any of these statements, back it up with proof. Eg 'Early election promise was false.' needs real evidence, not just your feeling or a Red Shirt rumour.

The situation is quite simple. Thaksin runs the the show, the reds are his supporters and Pue Thai his government. Their objective in 2010 was to overthrow the Abhisit coalition and they were prepared to do whatever they felt necessary to achieve their aim including employing assassins in black shirts who were protected by the reds. Thaksin wanted Abhisit to be brought into disrepute so he told the police not to be involved so the army had to be called. If the military is shot at they are trained to shoot back. If the men in black kill people they can blame it on the military because officially the blacks do not exist.
Some consider Thaksin to be clever but clever in Thailand is incompetent in the West. It's all so low level here, even childish.

And so the carousel goes around. Can it stop for a few minutes while someone asks, publicly, serious questions of those, now in power, who made the flagrant statements of incitement to excited followers to break the law?

why havent the criminologist on the run, deployed the same tactics, for the suffering thais in the deep south, boxes of dates and doughnuts, dont stop the killing, only police swat teams with 100% shooting records ?

Make no mistake about it; NOBODY has ever done a very good job trying to catch all of the MIB. Many pictures surfaced of these men. Some videos were publicized too. Their faces were shown! I know of at least two of them who were in the military and working in the south and commissioned they said by a certain ex military officer. Of course there has been plenty of cover up and the turning of one's head as the saying goes. Why? Because they are well connected hit men who are extremely dangerous! Most of them will never be caught just like the case with Khun Sondi.

It doesn't take much of an effort to find facts about the MIB,their leader and their financier.
Youtube will provide enough video evidence if one had any interest in the truth. A google search will provide written evidence. The red commentators on this article should give it a try.

However,I do understand why you don't. It would prove, beyond any doubt, what you are.

Disc. 36 et al. I thought it had been established that Sae Daeng was killed by a police sniper. If this is the case, and as the police seemed to be on inactive service during the whole of the demonstation, I wonder who gave the order.

If both of them, red and yellow wouldn't continuously produce chaos nobody gets hurt and no problems arise, are this people not capable to do it the civilized way and solve their problems by talking? What this people think they are elected into the parliament for? Also the riot police should be more consequent and tough.

KhunBJ, what planet are you from? Were you here at the time? Did you see the protests with your own eyes? From what I saw and what I have read in the international press coverage, I agree 100% with everything Abhisit said. (And yes, my wife is a red shirt who took part in the demonstrations.)
