Abhisit urges truth about men in black

POLITICALLY-CHARGED RALLY SLAMS GOVT

The Democrat Party held an emotional rally in Lumpini Park yesterday to condemn the government and provide its version of the military crackdown against red shirt protesters in 2010 when it was in power.

Party members attempted to shed light on the mysterious men in black who had been linked to the red shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship ( UDD) and who were believed by some to have attacked security forces and killed people during the 2010 political violence.

The Democrats on Friday staged a "men in black" caravan to highlight the involvement of the armed men in the 2010 red shirt rallies.

The MIB were taking cover in the red shirt camp which is a standard terrorist tactic. The red leadership knew they were there and their denials are just comic book stuff. They along with their financier from far away are ultimately responsible.

Police didn't do their job, they failed totally. What are they good for?

A new unsubstantiated accusation a day, Mr. Abhisit, is why you are sliding drastically in all the national polls and why you may have to run your biggest gun, Korn, to have a chance at keeping the Bangkok governor position.

What an absolutely typical red-shirt argument. Simply deny that anything you don't like existed at all. Their answer is to simply lie their way out of difficulty. Their government have openly admitted they do the same.

    Disgusting.

johnb D15 : So all them video call in's from TS supporting and calling on red shirts to make the riots that ended up in so many deaths are fake then are they? And the red shirt leaders didn't call on their supporters to burn and kill? Well I'm sorry but I, just like other millions did see the videos and know who was responsible for all the deaths of 2009 and 2010 red shirt riots.

Let us all look at this picture of a masked and armed MIB mingling with other violent reds....Maybe those who defend the undefendable will call them " Social workers from the red villages" ???? Sad for Thailand to read such lies and denials...

hangover: MIB shot and bombed army and civilians from the within the crowds of red shirts. That makes red shirt protesters armed. There are dozens of videos of them doing so. So your and others cry of unarmed protesters fails to make reason. Of course the army shot back at armed killers, why shouldn't they?

The Army Chief is absolutely correct in saying that "....However, he said the information should be verified as the judicial process takes it course instead of being used to trade accusations." I suspect that those using MIB as "weapon of attack" is afraid of the truth that they mismanaged the political protests, even if they did not design/create/deploy the MIB. BTW, snipers were deployed, but not the MIB that was shot. It was the political protesters and the innocents.

Let us see how many people believe in this AV's latest bid to save his own neck when the Judgement Day certainly comes for him for ordering troops to shoot at unarmed protesters in 2010.
