The red-shirt people group on Friday offered another one million baht reward for information about the men-in-black said to killed protesters and soldiers during 2010 political violence.

Somwang Assarasi, a core leader of the United front of Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), said this is in addition to one million baht bounty already announced by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).

Mr Somwang, a deputy agriculture and cooperatives minister, said the red-shirts’ reward will be given to any person who provides information about the men-in-black leading to the arrest of suspects in each of the following cases:

Not surprisingly a lot of the comments are negative about the UDD and Reds. Hatred will not make you think clearly or rationally no matter which side you support. One thing is for certain the UDD have put their money where their mouth is and offered the reward for all the deaths not just those on the UDD side.

As a side note:- Has anyone considered that there may have been more than one MIB group active and that they may not have been linked together or taking orders from the same elements? UDD - Military - Paramilitary - Police - Disgruntled Military - Mercenaries - The list could be endless.

#16 the link you talk shows 2 men in black near Red shirts. You see that they talk or eat with them? 3 RS don't see them and one looks surprised. What an evidence! Everybody know they infiltrated the protesters, now we have to know who sent them.

Shouldn't the reward be for information linking anyone to the killing of anyone during the protest. Why is the reward out only for the MIB when it is obvious they were not the only ones killing people. Anyone who killed someone should be arrested and forced to testify as to why they commited the act.

Just to give the former Gvt a pretext for a bloody repression? Today the dems affirm that they sent snipers and soldiers because this men. No one caught, no one hurted, no one killed. no one wanted (but now)...

Maybe something got lost in translation and it should have said : Reward for the civil arrest/intimidation/injury/death of witnesses who can identify the MIB.
I doubt PTP/UDD and their runaway coward of a leader would want witnesses to come forth,without having had a "talk" with someone in one of the red occupied villages.
