UDD matches reward for men in black

The red-shirt people group on Friday offered another one million baht reward for information about the men-in-black said to killed protesters and soldiers during 2010 political violence. 

Somwang Assarasi, a core leader of the United front of Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), said this is in addition to one million baht bounty already announced by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).

Mr Somwang, a deputy agriculture and cooperatives minister, said the red-shirts’ reward will be given to any person who provides information about the men-in-black leading to the arrest of suspects in each of the following cases:
