Red shirts rewarded with government advisory roles

More than a dozen red-shirt leaders and House No. 111 politicians, some of whom had slipped from ministerial posts in the recent cabinet reshuffle, secured key government positions at yesterday's cabinet approval meeting.

The meeting confirmed the appointment of 16 political officials to government support and advisory roles, deputy spokesman Pakdihan Himathongkam said.

Hardline red-shirt leader Suporn Attawong was appointed deputy secretary of the prime minister, while fellow red shirt Charan Ditthapichai became adviser to Deputy Premier Kittiratt Na-Ranong.

It's nice to see that some of those who were calling for the destruction of Bangkok are now part of our government!

I wish I could get a peek at a history book from 50 years into the future and see what it has to say about this government. I bet it would be fascinating.

We want Yingluck Shinawatra to be arrested and the Pheu Thai Party should dissolved all because of the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship by Thaksin Shinawatra, a corruptor.

Yoswaris Chuklom, better known as Jeng Dokjik, who is currently facing terrorism charges and whose bail conditions prohibit him from being involved in politics, assumed the role of adviser to Agriculture and Cooperatives Deputy Minister Yutthapong Charassathien.

Charged with terrorism, out of jail on bail, prohibited from being involved in politics and is appointed to a government position. I'm glad the Yingluck administration is built on the foundation of ethics and honesty.
