Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung Wednesday said a story by Thai Post newspaper reporters that he had two women to serve food and probably wine for him in his private workroom at the Royal Thai Police headquarters was exaggerated.
The Thai Post website reported Wednesday that Mr Chalerm, who oversees police affairs, arrived at police headquarters at 12.30pm Tuesday to pay respects to the statue of King Rama IV and a sacred shrine. He then went to his private office on the building’s first floor. The room was arranged by the order of national police chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew.
The report said two attractive women greeted Mr Chalerm in front of the building entrance and followed him into his office. Later, deputy national police chief Worapong Chewpreecha was also seen entering the room.
