"...about a dozen Democrat MPs rushed toward House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranond, surrounded him and loudly accused the PheuThai MP of being biased toward the government. At the height of the confusion, Democrat MP Rangsima Rodrasamee seized the speaker’s chair from Mr Somsak." - BangkokPost, Aug 27, 2012

Amazing how the first female 'PM' can allow one of her party members abuse another woman. Then again, after all she is only a puppet ...

An elected member of parliament with such a rogue behavior, should be out of the parliament for the sake of public interest !

RE: D11. in a censure debate if you make accusations, it is up to you to support those accusations with proof. When the MP says she dreamed them...do you accept that as proof? you speak of the Majority parties corruption each day, but I have not seen any proof. As Musashi points out in D9...all the DP is doing with every pointless accusation is diminishing their own credibility. Is it any wonder they have sunk in the polls so low?

Rangsima made an invalid accusation. Prasit made an inappropriate sexual remark. End of story. Maybe the mediator of these discussions should request evidence if anyone wants to make accusations or else their turn of speaking is up. Is it that hard to do for Thai politicians?

Find myself in total agreement with robins again.. How in any way is a throw away off the cuff comment sexual harassment. It merits an apology for sure, but an investigation absolutely not.
To pursue it deflects time and resources away from the tackling of real issues and problems facing this country. Most of those outlined for mahy a year by many a government.
If i was Thai I would be sick of my government's lack of real progress by now, I feel a lot of sympathy for the Thai people as they don't really have much of a choice as every govt is seemingly doing the same things, nothing

For some reason this called to mind the famous exchange: Lady Nancy Astor: "Winston, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your coffee." Winston Churchill: "Nancy, if you were my wife, I'd drink it."

Thai politicians prefer fantasy to fact and are not dreams a form of fantasy. So it should be no surprise the a Democrat offers a dream as factual evidence, is not their entire party based on a dream?

I think Prasit Chaisrisa's dreaming of 'sleeping with ...' illustration was inappropriate but not amounting to verbal sexual assault or threat. He was making a point to against the use of dream to make accusations. The protesting voices made the issue more interesting in wondering what actually took place in those dreams. I remembered a DPM once said in respond to drunk accusation to the same opposition MP - "I was not drunk, I was drunk by love."
