Charter push will go ahead

- +

The government is to push forward controversial charter amendment plans once the next session of parliament opens in December.

A government panel has finished working on the framework for amending the charter, said Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Phongthep Thepkanchana. He was speaking in his capacity as the panel's deputy chairman.

He said what the committee had come up with would not be revealed until all the coalition partners were officially in agreement.
