Englishbob - His supporters say that the whole judiciary is stacked with AV supporters, therefore he can't get a fair trial here in Thailand so can't/won't return. Frankly, he's just a coward IMHO.

android - "Discussion 11 lancelot : "The winner takes it all". This is the cruel reality that the losers must face.'

The cruel reality the Thai people must face is statements like yours. The truth is reds don't want reconciliation, never have and never will. they want complete power just like Thaksin. Glad your true face comes out.

Hmm. It's obvious that the majority of posters on BP do not agree with pro TS and his red shirt posters. So why do they stay? I don't go to pro red sites to try change their ideology. Makes you think about the paid posters rumours?

democrazy #50 Perhaps the Dems should try winning an election or a censure debate or anything else for that matter if they want more time on CH11. Until then they should be content with their Blue Sky network. And if the Dems want to win ratings, maybe they should give Thaksin equal time on Blue Sky. He's very popular, you know.

For the red/Thaksin fan club. Note he says '...my convictions...'. So far only 1 but an arrest warrant out on another issued during his government's term and more charges waiting for him. A Freudian slip indicating he expects to be found guilty ? Why would that be ?

With all the resources such as money, a proxy government, R mobs and all his merry men in senior positions in private and government institutions at his disposals, there is one thing he cannot do; that is to return home without Thailand self imploding. On such special occasions we can expect some “dramas” from TS letting off some steams from afar; this in itself is a small measure of “victory” for his opponents.

Love him or hate him, it looks like Mr. T. will be haunting Thai politics until the day he dies, and maybe as a ghost afterwards ...........

It was Thaksin who is cheap using state run TV for his own PR. Nobody drag the monarch into politics but Thaksin and his slaves.

I know it is difficult for the red hero worshipper to understand, but maybe have another look at the hundreds of thousands people who went out to see HM the King on his birthday. Look at all the pictures and videos you can find. How many people do you see who use HM the King’s birthday to articulate their own problems? I am sure in the crowd were many people with grievances but they did not bring them out on the birthday of HM the King because they knew in their heart that such behavior would be very bad. But obviously Thaksin is living with other rules – again.

A fugitive, convicted criminal gets free airtime on state-run Channel 11 TV.
But the opposition leader Abhisit Vejjajiva does not get airtime on state-run Channel 11 TV so that people could have a balanced view from the government and the opposition. What kind of democracy is that ?
