Deposed former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra appeared on state-run Channel 11 TV last night, presiding over a muay Thai event commemorating His Majesty the King's 85th birthday.

Ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra appears in a live broadcast on Channel 11 as he presides over a Thai boxing contest in Macau.

The tournament, titled Muay Thai Warriors, was broadcast live from a makeshift area in a hotel in Macau.

By allowing a convicted fugitive felon to appear on taxpayer supported public television, the red regime has crossed yet another threshold of shamelessness.

In scoring this gig, Dear Leader also made sure that the folks back home remember who really runs the show, in case some of his puppets might get ideas of making independent decisions.

What a disgrace for Thai people to have this happen. The Thai social media is abuzz with this. Most saying how horrible this is to be allowed to happen. A very sad day for Thailand.

Right on cue ,two weeks and on a Sunday again we are treated to another exhortation to "look at me.

A note to the Thaksinites. He stated once again he is in "self exile".

The only thing stopping him coming back is his ego. Can we now agree for all time we are finished with the "he was persecuted" line.

Discussion 14 supermax : the major difference between Thaksin and AV is....Thaksin is convicted against "conflict of interest" and AV is charged against "murder". This is factual.

he dont have any presidential ambitions !
i read many times, that he is clever enough to contral the country from far away, but if he are clever to do this, so he know very good that he can never be president from any country in the world, he know very well that no one will accept that.
he want only come back to thailand as a free man, do his own business, but never take take a position in politics again.
maybe some people fear a ghost, maybe thaksin is not danger anymore ?? does anyone think about this too ?
