The Thai establishment is so consumed with getting rid of Thaksin that they were willing to commit a massacre in 2010. Faking an audio tape isn't beyond them. Neither is using the people's love for the monarchy to further their cause.

Pity the ex general made a mess of his moves, e.g. his comment about a coup and a massive demo. Seems he has important evidence to prove Thaksin essentially wants a Republic/dictatorship...with him as the life long President, of course.

The audio clip would have been handed over to police by Boonlert for lese majeste investigation....if it were a genuine one. But unfortunately it is not.

    Discussion 6,
There is also a case of perjury that the DSI had forgotten in the bottom drawer.

    Discussion 4,
I do agree with you, perhaps can also keep a bed for the fugitive convicted criminal when he finish his term in prison..then the country will be moving.

He was convicted by a government set up by the military who overthrow an elected government. The military controlled the courts. This is why the world knows there was no fair trail and why he can travel to 100's of countries and they ignore any protest from the past government to extradite him.

Submit the tape for examination and file lese majeste charges. Then let the courts work it out.

While in power, Thaksin made thinly veiled references to a future Thai republic. He openly admired and tried to emulate Mahathir and actively sought an authoritarian regime.

    If that's not anti-monarchy, I don't know what is.

waters d2-said 'he has no place in our present or future'

Did you forget that Thaksin has said on many many occasions that he is no longer involved in politics.
