If the PTP camp wins Bangkok Governor, is it safe to say the PTP/UDD are "Elites" rich folks who don't care about the poor too?

Sadly people don't know the population that supports the PTP and DEM are actually almost equal. Ironic how the red camp likes to bash people living in Bangkok for being selfish, rich, etc.

Not sure about this poll, it seems to wildly contradict other polls, hard to believe that Bangkok, with its well informed middle class favour a policeman (with Ratchaprasong still fresh in their minds) over an experienced governor. With someone competent like Korn coming in wit 7% and Sudaret trailing far behind Pongsapat when in fact Peua Thai are split over which of the two to choose.

Apparently Bangkokians still fond of people in unforms to run the country, The exiled ex PM also was the police and specialized in narc. as well. He knew how to thin the drug addict populations. Is it what Bangkokians want?

8 million people in Bangkok and they were able to determine where they all stood by asking slightly more than a 1000 people. According to equally broad polls in the USA, Romney was supposed to be ahead and we all know how that one went.

l believe no police or army officer should be allowed in politics,or indeed anyone who has a misameaner conviction, aleast half on the thai politicans would not qualify ,and if a mp of paliament was foung guilty of abuse,to serve a 5 years ban and then allowed to continue is a farce,in most other democratic countries you enter politics to serve the nation not yourselves

Being a career policeman with a specialty in drug enforcement is wonderful preparation to become the governor of one of the world's major cities.
