Red-shirts gather at Bonanza

A large number of red-shirt activists began gathering on Saturday at the Bonanza resort near Khao Yai to voice their support for constitutional change.

The members of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship also intend to express their opposition against a possible military coup now that the Pheu Thai government is moving ahead with a referendum on rewriting the 2007 charter.

UDD co-leaders including Jatuporn Prompan and former prime minister Somchai Wongsawat are scheduled to give speeches on the rally stage later in the evening.

Help me with this one...

Jatuporn has a criminal record. Korkaew is currently released from jail on terrorism charges.

A wanted fugitive will be making a scheduled telephone call in. And 700 corrupt policeman will be providing security.

And to top it all off, their party is called "United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship".

"The more press and media coverage these events receive, the more they will propogate and flourish."

Sure, good idea and then we should ask for the medias to cover only news a category of people want to hear because it is the purpose of reading a newspaper but certainly not to know what's happening in the country and in the world...

I feel sad a vandalism in the Parliament and the International Airport by Yellow-shirts in the past.
I have not heard those anti-democracy action of ravage in other countries.
I looked and knew that several supporting organizations and low-level education peoples have sent them out grazing in undeveloped land.
