'Patriots' to sue over temple row

A civic group affiliated with the yellow-shirt People's Alliance for Democracy will file a petition in the Criminal Court accusing the Foreign Ministry of providing false information to the public in the Thai-Cambodian Preah Vihear Temple dispute.

The petition will be lodged with the court on Monday, Jan 14, said political campaigner Chaiwat Sinsuwong, leader of the Khon Thai Rak Chart Raksa Pandin (Thais who love the nation and the land) group.

How much false information about Preah Vihear have the Yellow Shirts spread? How many have actually read the 1962 decision?

The Yellow Shirts need to accept the fact that Thailand is going to lose this battle - actually - have already lost it. Get over it.

D1 a good summary of facts. The later the Govt. makes factual presentation to the public the more chance this PAD supported group will mislead the public again.

It's a cruel irony that Thailand is up in arms about a supposed loss of its small piece of land while remaining strangely quiet about the Chinese invasion of South China Sea: 1/2 of Thai outbound maritime load and 40% of global transport, home of more than 1/2 of ASEAN members, a baseless Chinese claim, a lawless behavior of alleged friend of ASEAN and a soon to be a Chinese backyard pond. Is it appeasement or intimidation or smart ?

This guy is a trouble maker. Why is he and his other PADs friends still walking and talking so freely? Either throw him inside JAIL or throw him inside Cambodia to join his two other trouble making PADs friends inside Cambodian jail.

Thailand had accepted the borderline of the French at the beginning of the last century!
Thailand had accepted the judgment of 1962 and had 10 years to however right to object - but had not done.
It is a Khmer temple.
Many Thais are an ethnic Khmer.
It is a world heritage site.
Thailand wants to be a member of ASEAN and build a Union with the other ASEAN states.

Both countries can not rejoice to have had such brilliant common past - and look forward to a bright future together?
